Custom Software Development

Internal tools, dashboards, and SaaS builds tailored to how your business actually runs.

What this engagement looks like

Some problems don't have an off-the-shelf solution. When your business has a workflow, calculation, or data problem that requires a custom tool, we design and build it — typically as a web app you and your team access from any browser.

Engagements range from small internal tools (a custom estimator, a dashboard pulling from three platforms) to multi-user SaaS products. Built on modern stacks (TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres) and deployed on managed infrastructure so you're not stuck maintaining servers.

Who this is for

Operators who've outgrown spreadsheets, owners building a productized service, or teams who need a tool that doesn't exist as a SaaS product on the market.

How the work goes

01

Discovery

One or two scoping sessions to define the problem, the must-haves vs. nice-to-haves, and the realistic budget range.

02

Scope & quote

A written scoping document, a fixed-price quote, and a timeline. No ambiguity about what's included.

03

Build

Iterative builds with check-ins so you see progress and can course-correct before something is fully wired up.

04

Launch & handoff

Deployment, documentation, training, and a defined support window. You own the code and infrastructure outright.

FAQ

What does 'custom quote' actually mean?
Software ranges from a $5k internal tool built in two weeks to a $50k+ SaaS product built over months. We quote after discovery so the number reflects the actual work.
Who owns the code?
You do. Source code lives in a private GitHub repo under your account. We hand over deployment access, infrastructure credentials, and documentation.
Can you maintain it after launch?
Yes, on a retainer basis, or we can hand off cleanly to your developer. Either is fine.
